Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
Step 2: Prepare the Dough
On a floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a circle or rectangle, depending on your preference.
Transfer the dough to a pizza peel or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 3: Add the Toppings
Spread the Sauce: Use a spoon to spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
Add the Cheese: Place the fresh mozzarella slices or pieces evenly over the sauce.
Layer the Tomatoes: Arrange the tomato slices on top of the cheese.
Season: Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Step 4: Bake the Pizza
Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven (or onto the pizza stone if using).
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
Step 5: Garnish and Serve
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for 1-2 minutes.
